Two passions helped to create Greenlife Design;   health and design, as founder and owner of Greenlife Design, Maggie is a certified Green Building Professional and Interior Designer. Focusing on how to help people become healthier in their indoor environments.

While in South Florida, Maggie’s design work began with 3 years experience in the mega yacht industry, the next 15 years working in Palm Beach on high end residential projects.  Maggie has traveled from the east to west coasts as well, as the Caribbean, with exposure to many different styles, ranging from exotic to modern.  Having been fortunate to work with some of the best architects, designers and builders in the residential design field, Maggie has acquired a wealth of knowledge.

Greenlife Design was developed after Maggie experienced symptoms of sick building  syndrome which lead to asthma and multiple chemical sensitivities;   MCS is characterized by the body’s inability to handle synthetic chemicals.  As an interior designer, Maggie realized all the chemicals that are in our homes and workplaces could make us sick!  As with all things in life we adapt to what has been dealt, we either do this in a positive way or not, choosing the positive has lead to learning more about this condition as well as education in the healthy side of building and why our home and work environments make us sick. After many doctor visits with no real answers, Maggie came across the study of:  Bau Biology & Ecology.  This has lead to understanding of what makes us sick in our own environments. As a result of adjustments that were made in my life, I am feeling so much better. These considerations can be applied in your home too!
